There will be 2 rounds of scratch strokeplay

Round 1 played on the 19 September 2010.
Round 2 played on the 19 September 2010.

Each County Union will field a team of 6 players (The best 5 scores in each round count.)

Amendments to your order of play must be handed in at the Championship Office by 1400hrs on the official practice day.

In the event of a tie the non counting scores will be aggregated. Should there still be a tie the last 9 holes of the best 5 scores will be aggregated.

It is obligatory for all competitors in the Championship to play with a ball which is named on the current R & A list of conforming golf balls.

It is a condition of competition that the driver a player uses is included on the R&A List of Conforming Driver Heads. Penalty for breach of condition – Disqualification.

Competitors and Caddies will be permitted to wear tailored golf shorts, worn with sports socks, on the golf course. If Championship Officials consider attire to be inappropriate (eg cargo-style shorts/cut-offs/multi zipped shorts) the individual will be required to change prior to teeing off. Such an incident will not be an excuse for late arrival on the tee

The use of distance measuring devices is not permitted. Penalty – disqualification.
